August is traditionally a slower month for Real Estate. Blame it on the end of summer, beginning of the school year, or vacations August of 2012 was no exception.
Listings and Sales of single family homes lead the pack. In August 28 new listings hit the market market, 19 listings were looking for a back-up offer, 10 homes went into escrow, and 14 sales came to a successful close.
15 new land listings were put on the market in August 2012.
Mobile and Manufactured home sales were weak for August with only 1 reported sale.
